Directed by Sean Durkin (Martha Marcy May Marlene) in his British television drama debut, Southcliffe tells the story of a fictional English market town devastated by a spate of shootings which take place over a single day. It explores tragedy, grief, responsibility and redemption seen through the eyes of a journalist returning to the small town of his childhood, and those closest to the victims of the tragedy.

Nightwing
犯罪，尤其是命案，作为最高效而廉价的叙事动机，愈发被如今的电视剧集所滥用。本来这种类型就看得不多，但到这部我已经觉得审美疲劳了。破碎的剪辑，牵强的情节，过分自持的表现手法……拍的人觉得很有范儿，看的人觉得很干瘪。
