34 year old Alex lives his life within the narrow confines of his workplace, an aging smoking pipe manufacturing plant. Alex has a high functioning form of autism and when his boss hires Iris, a young undocumented worker from Ecuador, a connection is made that draws Alex out of himself and into the unpredictable world of possibility, disappointment and triumph.
