After anxiety-prone Emily breaks up with slightly-autistic Marvin, he reveals his plans to lock himself in his basement for the next 2 years as a Mars Capsule simulation. Emily must now decide whether to let Marvin cut himself off from the world or to join him on his journey to 'Mars.'
