Four different worlds are connected as each character arrives at their happiness.
　　The World of the Kawanobe's - Three brothers, Taro (Mame Yamada), Jiro (Koji Yamamoto), and Hiroto (Shoichi Honda) who is a so-called NEET (short for "Not in Employment, Education, or Training") make up the Kawanobe household. Each brother has a lover: Saki (Sae Isshiki), Sayuri (Akiko Monou) and Manami (Asami Imajuku). Each learns to overcome the obstacles of love in order to attain true happiness.
　　The World of a Bar - Two men (Mame Yamada and Hiroshi Yamamoto) sits in a bar and discusses the Kawanobe brothers' love story. The bartender (Shoichi Honda) quietly listens to their story. Hikari, stunning but deadly drunk, stumbles into the bar. As she listens to the two men's story, she gradually sobers up and finds herself falling in love with the bartender.
　　The World of Yumi - Yumi, who works at a used-clothes shop, is reading a novel about the characters in the bar. Her feelings are closed off from the world but when she meets a man working at a flower shop, her heart slowly starts to open up.
　　The World of a Novelist - Novelist Masatoshi (Shoichi Honda), who lives with his sister's (Sae Isshiki) daughter, Kontasu, is writing about Yumi. When he hears a story from Konatsu about the "Seeds of Happiness," he begins to quickly complete his novel.
　　The four worlds are connected through the "Seeds of Happiness." In their own worlds, in their own way, each character arrives at happiness.
