They leave the station with their horse drawn pumper, arrive on the scene, and effect the safe rescue of a woman from the burning house. A story out of separate pieces of film, combined in a coherent fashion. temporal overlap editing (diff angle). the other one use crosscutting. an illusion scene at the top right (Uncle Tom's Cabin), thought-ballon，but narrative is unclear(needs lecturer)
