The Zoo: Season 2 Dublin This fascinating 10 part series for all the family gives an incredible glimpse into the life behind the scenes with the zookeepers of Dublin Zoo, where no two days are ever the same! From wrestling Nile crocodiles to witnessing Lena the western lowland gorilla giving birth to her new baby Kituba, follow all the animals’ amazing stories from a year in Dublin Zoo. The cameras join the keepers every step of the way, even when their work takes them as far as England, France and South Africa! Over the course of the series a huge cast of exotic animals are featured, from tiny pygmy marmosets (and even their tiner babies) to the hulking frame of the white rhinoceros and everything in between, including flamingos, gorillas, turtles, wolves, giraffes, tapirs, penguins, crocodiles, tigers and snow leopards amongst many others.
