Mother Fucker

『MOTHER FUCKER』 tells the story of an unconventional Japanese family of musicians. Jun Taniguchi is the founder of legendary independent label Less Than TV, a veteran punk musician, and a care worker by day; his latest musical project is the unhinged one-man folk act FUCKER. He also plays in the noise rock band Limited Express (has gone?) with his domestic partner, the fierce frontwoman Yukari. Together, they have a son, Tomonari, aged 10, who is just starting his own hardcore punk band with his parents' adult friends. The film gives us glimpses into the characters of Jun and Yukari, the family's home life and personal dynamics, the underground music scene surrounding Less Than TV, the unlikely intersection of punk rock and care work, and Tomonari's preparation for the live debut of his band Cheetahs Mania.
