剧情介绍
A docudrama depicting the life of acclaimed Armenian writer-dramatist William Saroyan (born in Fresno, California in 1908 to an Armenian family from Bitlis), Saroyanland focuses on the journey to Turkey and his hometown that the writer took in 1964 for the first time. His long voyage, accompanied with a collection of his writing in voiceover, starts in the United States and takes him through Istanbul, Ankara, Trabzon and Bitlis. In this journey, he not only reconnects with his past and the origins of who he is, but also rediscovers a country with open eyes and an open heart.
