剧情介绍
Abandoned Goods is a moving and enlightening essay film, outlining the hidden history of the Adamson Collection. Recently rediscovered after years of neglect, the collection is one of the major bodies of British ‘asylum art’. It contains around 5,500 paintings, drawings and sculptures created between 1946-1981 by patients in Netherne psychiatric hospital in Surrey. Abandoned Goods traces the transformation of these objects from clinical material to revered art objects and examines the lives of their creators.
