Directed by Lourdes Portillo, Susan Mu?oz. This personal look at the Mexican celebration of los Dias de los Muertos traces the tradition from its roots in Indian culture to its manifestation in contemporary Chicano communities. 2012 June 29 at MoMA Theater. It was a long while before I realized the old man couldn't find his way in the dark. He was seated but then left, the girl sat next to me said to me,"He was afraid of that(death)."
