剧情介绍
Inside the Lords (also known as Inside the House of Lords) was a three-part series that ran on BBC Two in 1999. Narrated by former barrister and host of the UK version of Whose Line is it Anyway?, Clive Anderson, each episode in this series offered a look at a different aspect of the work done by the upper house of the United Kingdom Parliament. Though the media often focuses on the affairs taking place in the House of Commons, this miniseries looks at the way the House of Lords is run, including how membership is determined and the process by which the upper house approves or rejects any proposed bills. Fans of the English governmental system as well as history and political science buffs will find something of interest in each of the series' three episodes, which serves as a good starting point for further research into the House of Lords.
