Man versus Lion. The battle of ages.
In Tanzania, the ancient struggle between Man and Nature continues. But each side pays a huge price. Lions threaten cattle and the youngsters who herd them. Farmers poison hundreds of lions each year to protect themselves and their families. Every week, a man is attacked by a lion. Every day a lion is killed by man.
"Neighbourhood Lions" follows the trials and tribulations of both farmers and lions across East Africa. We meet locals, herds'people, tourists, scientists and NGO representatives doing their best to balance the needs of both lions and humans.
