世界著名奇幻文学大师，托芙·扬松(Tove Jansson，1914～2001)，出生于芬兰首都赫尔辛基，父亲是一位雕塑家，母亲是一位画家。在芬兰，她的家庭属于外来的、说瑞典语的少数民族。
可以想象，在一个很少能够找到和自己说一样语言，有一样生活习惯的邻居的地方，童年时代的杨松多多少少会感觉有些孤单。更何况，有整整六年，杨松是家中惟一的孩子。她的大弟弟皮尔·欧拿夫（Per Olov）出生在1920年，而小弟弟纳斯（Lars）到1926年才降生。
在芬兰的冬天，有整整三个月没有阳光，这时候的晚上，无法像小木民矮子精一样“冬眠”的杨松，就常常坐在火炉前面，听妈妈给她讲圣经里的故事，这些故事总是“讲述着一些渴望回到故乡的人，他们迷失了，但最终还是找到了回家的路。

「挚爱的纪录片，老早看的竟没标过」原先对姆明的了解仅限圆滚白胖，是因为这部纪录片才开始认识姆明。想起小熊维尼的诞生，觉得许多萌物的背后大抵都是很温暖又很孤独的故事：它们多是在战争或战后期间诞生，创作者因艰难的经历而创作了他们。刚被画出来的萌物虽然稚嫩，但对于饱受战争和贫穷折磨的人们来说有着奇迹般的治愈作用，然而作品的火热逐渐给创作者带去了更深的孤独和困扰。萌物的魅力即使在若干年后也依旧不减，只是它们背后的故事就像那些不为人知的孤独一样鲜为人知。然而两者都是人性神奇的体现，大概毕竟温暖与孤独多少是相辅相成的吧。
